Belgium sentences three criminals for kidnapping the wives of encryption investors, while the mastermind is still at large.

According to ChainCatcher news and reported by Cointelegraph, the Brussels Criminal Court sentenced three criminals involved in the kidnapping of crypto assets entrepreneur Stefan Winkel's wife to 12 years in prison each and ordered them to pay 1 million euros in compensation. Three individuals had demanded Crypto Assets as ransom, and the mastermind has not yet been apprehended. The victim, Winkel, is a well-known operator of a local encryption education platform, and has been forced to relocate and change the format of public activities following the incident.
