As the carrier's press service reports, at the first stage, online tickets will be available between Ukraine and Austria and vice versa.

At the second stage, tickets for the Ukraine-Hungary connection will also be available online for trains going to Austria via Hungary, i.e. Kyiv-Budapest-Vienna and Chop-Budapest-Vienna.

Direct connections Ukraine — Hungary (Mukachevo — Debrecen, Mukachevo — Budapest, Chop — Zahon) will appear in the application a little later.

The UZ also noted that in order to prepare for the online sale of tickets, "Ukrzaliznytsia" will temporarily suspend the sale of tickets through ticket offices for the direct train Kyiv — Vienna — Kyiv starting from March 18. The restriction will continue directly until the opening of online sales. That is, on March 18, ticket sales will resume to the full depth of sales (20 days) already online. The temporary restriction will not affect the train Chop — Vienna — Chop. As of now, tickets for the train Chop — Vienna and back are available for practically all dates

"After the implementation of this project, even more of our international flights will become available online and passengers will no longer have to go to the ticket office to buy a ticket and plan their trip. Also, as the experience on the Kyiv — Warsaw route has shown, this is a rather powerful safeguard against overbuying." - said the chairman of the board of the University of Applied Sciences Yevhen Lyashchenko.

It is noted that it will be possible to purchase tickets through the "Ukrzaliznytsia" application, and for a direct train from Kyiv to Vienna, account verification will be required through "Diyu.Pidpis".
