I investigated the various cryptocurrency trading groups I joined in 2017 and 2018. In recent years, there have been very few conversations in these groups of hundreds of people. When I asked, some individuals are still involved in the cryptocurrency community, but the majority of people have left the community due to the negative emotions caused by significant losses.
Loss aversion may lead to a higher number of veteran investors exiting the crypto market than the number of new investors entering.
