PANews reported on April 29 that CompoSecure, Baanx, and MetaMask announced a collaboration to launch the MetaMask metal payment card, which is expected to go live globally in the second quarter of 2025. The card allows users to pay directly through the self-custody MetaMask Wallet on the Linea network, without the need for preloading, fiat exchange, or reliance on a Centralized Exchange, with transaction authorization times of less than five seconds.
