On December 14th, PANews reported that Galaxy Digital announced Tony Paquette will take over as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) starting January 1, 2025, replacing Alex Ioffe who will be transitioning to a senior advisor role.
Paquette has over 25 years of financial services and fintech experience, previously serving as the CFO of Point72, a hedge fund founded by Steve Cohen, responsible for global finance, fund management, broker relationships, and operations management. He has also served as the head of business at SoFi, and held managing director positions at JPMorgan and Bank of America.
