The three major U.S. stock indexes all rose more than 1% at the close, with the Dow posting its largest weekly decline since late October.

Golden Finance reported that the US stock market opened low and rose high, with all three major indexes rising by more than 1% at the close. The Dow rose by 1.18%, falling 2.25% for the week, marking the third consecutive weekly fall; the Nasdaq rose by 1.09%, falling 1.99% for the week, marking the second consecutive weekly fall; the S&P 500 rose by 1.03%, falling 1.78% for the week. The Dow recorded its largest single-week fall since late October, while the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq both recorded their largest single-week fall in a month.
