The founder of Binance, Changpeng Zhao "CZ", shared his vision for the future of cryptocurrency at WebX Tokyo, emphasizing the intersection of cryptocurrency and artificial intelligence. He praised the policy changes during the presidency of Donald Trump, with three new laws on stablecoin and the Genius Act, while opposing CBDC. CZ believes the American government is now choosing to embrace innovation rather than stifle it.
According to him, AI will use blockchain as a natural medium of exchange instead of fiat money, as the banking system is only suitable for humans. In the future, each person could own hundreds of AI agents, creating a multitude of micro-transactions on the blockchain.
After leaving Binance, CZ focused on education through Giggle Academy, serving 50,000 children, and advising at least 12 governments on cryptocurrency. He also aims to foster entrepreneurship, promote ethics, long-term products, and support through the EZ Labs fund.
