Radiant DAO proposes a compensation plan for unlimited authorization vulnerability losses.
Gate.io News bot message, the Radiant DAO community has released a compensation proposal for the losses due to the infinite authorization vulnerability. This proposal pertains to the vulnerability incident that occurred on October 16, 2024, on Arbitrum and BNB Chain, where losses amounted to 7.7 million USD in 2024 and 1.2 million USD in the first quarter of 2025.
The compensation plan is in the form of stablecoins, implementing a 30% discount for losses in 2024 and a 60% discount for losses in 2025. The priority of this compensation is set lower than the depositors' compensation plan (RFP-47). The community is currently voting on the source of the compensation funds, including two options: shared by the DAO and partners or no compensation.
