The SEC ( will hold its third annual conference on asset management trends on June 5, 2025. The focus of the event will be on digital assets and tokenization, bringing together industry leaders, regulatory agencies, and academia.

Commissioner Hester M. Peirce and Director of the Investment Division Natasha Vij Greiner will preside. The program features sessions on the history of the 1940 Act, innovation in investment funds, and access to private market opportunities for retail investors. Notably, one session will focus on the role of digital assets in modern finance.

Representatives from Fidelity, BlackRock, Nasdaq, Invesco, Franklin Templeton, and Apollo will discuss the integration of tokenized assets into traditional finance. The highlight is the "Capital Markets 2.0" session coordinated by Jeff Dinwoodie, focusing on the liquidity and accessibility of digital assets.
