Arthur Hayes has revealed his price prediction for Ethereum in 2025: (ETH)! "Currently, the most hated altcoin is Ethereum, but..."
Bitcoin (BTC) and altcoins drew attention with bold and ambitious statements from former BitMEX CEO Arthur Hayes, who made significant remarks about Ethereum.
Arthur Hayes, speaking at the Bitcoin 2025 Conference, predicted that Ethereum could reach 5,000 dollars this year.
Hayes argued that Ethereum could potentially reach a new all-time high despite its recent poor performance compared to rival cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Solana (SOL).
The famous figure stated that ETH is currently the most hated layer-1 blockchain and that historically the most disliked assets tend to provide the best returns when market cycles turn.
According to Hayes, this situation indicates that ETH could double in price and perform better.
Apart from Hayes, Geoffrey Kendrick, Head of Digital Assets at Standard Chartered, also stated that he has a bullish expectation for Ethereum, sharing a price target of $4,000 for 2025 and $7,500 for 2029.
As a result, the jump to 4,000 dollars, seen as the common denominator and lower limit of Kendrick and Hayes' price prediction range, means an approximately 50% jump from ETH's current price of 2,640 dollars.
