With the new approval slashing regulations from Polkadot, choosing a validator is no longer just about maximizing profits – it's about protecting your assets. The risk of slashing ( penalty loss of tokens ) is very real, but @Bifrost provides a layer of safety specifically for $vDOT holders.

Insurance fund from commissions: 20% of the commission fees from validators are allocated to a public insurance fund, creating the first line of defense against slashing.
