US Government Acquires Crypto Assets Worth Nearly Rp400 Trillion

According to data from Arkham Intelligence, the United States government currently holds digital assets worth approximately US$24 billion or the equivalent of Rp392 trillion. The collection consists of various types of popular cryptocurrencies to low-value small tokens.
Most of these crypto deposits are in the form of Bitcoin (BTC), which amounts to 198 thousand BTC worth over US$22.9 billion. In addition, there are also Ethereum (ETH) totaling 59 thousand ETH valued at around US$260 million, as well as hundreds of millions of stablecoins such as USDT and USDC.
Other crypto assets stored include Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC), Binance Coin (BNB), as well as tokens like Uniswap, Chainlink, Shiba Inu, and Render. In fact, some altcoins with minimal value such as POODLE, MONKEY, and BABYTRUMP are also recorded in that portfolio.
On the other hand, Arkham Intelligence also highlighted a recent Bitcoin transaction that took place on Wednesday (13/08). The small transaction worth 0.00224971 BTC or approximately US$274 indicates that the government’s crypto wallet is still actively used.
