Wyoming launches FRNT stablecoin, now available on 7 chains.

On August 19, according to reports, Wyoming officially launched the Frontier Stable Token (FRNT), becoming the first state in the United States to issue its own stablecoin.

FRNT is backed by the US dollar and short-term government bonds, and is currently live on seven blockchains: Ethereum, Solana, Arbitrum, Avalanche, Polygon, Optimism, and Base.

However, due to the existing regulatory barriers, the token is not yet open to the public.
