On September 2, the Japanese cryptocurrency platform Coincheck announced the acquisition of the digital asset brokerage Aplo, regulated by the French AMF. The transaction is expected to be completed in October 2025, and all shares of Aplo will be converted into newly issued common stock of Coincheck.
Coincheck stated that this move aims to assist in its expansion into the European market.
