Report: 70% of programmers have programmed with various AI tools
According to a report by IT House on June 14, the latest developer survey report released by the programming question-and-answer website Stack Overflow shows that although programmers are skeptical about the accuracy of various AI-driven tools, it does not prevent them from being used in the development process. According to the survey results, 77% of programmers surveyed welcome the use of AI in their workflow, and 70% of respondents said they have programmed using AI tools this year. Thirty-three percent of respondents believe that the introduction of AI tools can increase productivity; 25% of respondents believe that it can speed up the learning process.
However, most respondents are skeptical about the accuracy of AI systems, with only 3% saying they fully trust AI tools; 39% saying they "partially trust"; and 31% saying "haven't made a decision yet" ; 22% said "I'm cautious"; 5% said "I don't trust at all".
