12/18 launch! Ubisoft's blockchain game Laser Raptor Captain has released free NFTs and partnered with ENS
Ubisoft's new chain game 'Laser Hawk Captain' will be released on 12/18
According to Decrypt, French game developer Ubisoft will launch a new blockchain game, Captain Laserhawk: The G.A.M.E., on December 18th. The game is a retro-style multiplayer shooting game that uses the Ethereum Layer2 blockchain Arbitrum technology.
This game is inspired by the Netflix animated series 'Laser Hawk: Blood Dragon Remix', which is adapted from Ubisoft's game 'Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon' and features Ubisoft characters, also known as 'Ubisoft All-Stars' by players.
Ubisoft's Technical Director and Executive Producer, Didier Genevois, stated that 'Laser Eagle Team Captain: The G.A.M.E.' represents the new frontier of game development, where players will become co-creators.
This game is Ubisoft's second blockchain-developed work, and the first blockchain game is Champions Tactics: Grimoria Chronicles, which was released at the end of October.

What are the capabilities of the free NFT of 'Laser War Eagle Captain' released on 12/12?
'Laser Warhawk Captain: The G.A.M.E.' has released 10,000 'Ninja Warrior' (Niji Warrior) NFT collectibles on Magic Eden on December 12th and allows players to mint for free.
Ubisoft said that these NFTs are not just digital collectibles, but also have rich in-game functionality.
First of all, Niji Warrior NFT holders can get full access to the game, including experiencing unique game assets, advanced customization options, and limited edition battle pass content.
NFT holders can also have governance rights, and can vote on new maps, characters, seasonal updates, and key storyline elements, directly participating in shaping the future of the game.
In addition, each Niji Warrior NFT will change continuously based on the player's performance and participation in the game, and the metadata will present the player's achievements and rarity. In the future, holders can even create and upload their in-game assets, such as skins and map elements, and the community will decide whether to include them in the game by voting.
In addition to experiencing the game content and governance rights, NFT holders can receive exclusive rewards for other Ubisoft game series, including "Assassin's Creed", "Watch Dogs", and "Splinter Cell".
In addition, holders also have the opportunity to participate in special NFT minting and airdrop activities, and obtain rare in-game items and collectibles.
As of the time of writing, all Niji Warrior NFTs on Magic Eden have been fully minted. The current floor price is 0.00969 ETH ($ETH), with a daily trading volume of 1.829 ETH. The trading activity is not considered active.

Captain Laserhawk: A Blood Dragon Remix collides with Ubisoft's operational crisis
The Laser Eagle Captain: The G.A.M.E. is mainly planned by Ubisoft, Arbitrum, and Sequence. Nina Rong, the head of the Arbitrum Foundation, emphasizes that the goal of this game is to change the traditional game development model and return the creative power to the gaming community.
In addition, Ethereum Naming Service has also announced a partnership with Ubisoft, marking its first foray into the gaming industry, allowing Laser Hawk: The G.A.M.E. to integrate the unique domain name card (ID Card) system.
In recent months, Ubisoft has encountered operational crises, with not only 'Assassin's Creed: Shadow' facing PR issues and delayed release, but also internal strikes. The stock price has plummeted by nearly 50% this year. Reuters previously revealed that although the Ubisoft founder's family and Tencent had discussed acquisition matters, there is currently no consensus.
Although the new blockchain game is about to be launched, players cannot help but worry about whether Ubisoft itself can survive the difficulties and continue to operate its games in the long run.
