According to a report released by the developer Dfinity Foundation on November 4, the usage of Chain Fusion, the Cross-Chain Interaction message delivery protocol of Internet Computer, has risen by 1,230% YoY, mainly from native Bitcoin applications.
Dfinity said that BTC applications, including Rainbow Protocol, Tap Protocol, and Bitfinity, are using Internet Computer to deploy Smart Contracts and other complex programs on the BTC network. Chain Fusion has enabled Smart Contracts for BTC because ICP can interact directly with the BTC network without using any trusted bridge. (Cointelegraph)
