MARA and CleanSpark reported significant revenue growth in the first quarter but recorded losses.

According to Gate.io News bot, TheBlock reported that Bitcoin mining companies MARA and CleanSpark announced their financial reports for the first quarter of 2025. MARA's revenue reached $214 million, a 30% year-on-year increase, but it had a net loss of $533 million, higher than the $337 million loss in the same period of 2024.

CleanSpark's revenue reached $182 million, a year-on-year increase of 63%, with a net loss of $139 million, compared to a net profit of $127 million in the same period of 2024.

MARA announced plans to raise up to $2 billion through the issuance of stock for Bit acquisitions and general operating funds. CleanSpark focuses on Bit mining operations.
