The Baltic Dry Index fell 37 points to 1941 points on Thursday, hitting its lowest level since September 18, impacted by the decline in capesize freight rates. The capesize freight index dropped 100 points to 3299 points, reaching a low of over a week. Capesize daily earnings decreased by $824 to $27,363. The Panamax freight index rose 3 points to 1367 points. Panamax daily earnings increased by $28 to $12,302. The Supramax bulk carrier freight index fell 12 points to 1260 points.
