Deutsche Bank: European Central Bank unlikely to make significant interest rate cuts

On December 12th, Jinshi data, Eric Lim and Michael Lester, strategists at the research department of Deutsche Bank, said that the European Central Bank is expected to cut interest rates by 25 basis points and may lower the rise and inflation expectations, which will support German government bonds. Although a larger rate cut may also be discussed, the money market also expects this possibility to be small. Strategists said that an unexpectedly large rate cut would convey a sense of panic, which is what ECB President Lagarde hopes to avoid.
